I’ve heard criticisms of this film because everyone is absurdly articulate
which is true and I suppose is unrealistic
but at the same time the whole thing is essentially about the inability to communicate
and I find that tension interesting
that these characters can talk and talk and never say what they mean
and I don’t think that’s unrealistic at all
No one can make up maps!
Take lord of the Rings for example, there’s a lot of truth to be found within it’s pages. Can anyone honestly tell me that there is history be be found in Tolkien’s work? Just look at the maps in the back of the books, NO ONE can make that up!
